VILLAGE OF NELSONVILLE BOARD MEETING MINUTES Tuesday 9.8.26 6pm UNAPPROVED MINUTES Village Board Meeting The meeting was called to order by President Rubina Martini Present at the meeting were: President Rubina Martini, Trustee Walter Leppen, Trustee Paula Kramer, and Clerk/Treasurer Daniel Bootz. Residents/Community Members Present - None M/S, Leppen/Martini moved to approve August board minutes as modified; all in favor, motion carried. Clerk/Treasurer Daniel Bootz submitted the treasurer’s report. M/S, Martini/Leppen moved to pay bills as presented by Clerk/Treasurer Daniel Bootz, all in favor, motion carried Correspondence was reviewed ● TRSD representatives will be at the October meeting to discuss the November Referendum. Public Questions and Comments ● No Questions New Business and Possible Decisions ● Leppen presented the proposed 10-year note schedules to pay for the Pavelski Rd. ● M/S Martini/Leppen moved to approve borrowing up to $32,000 to pay for the Pavelski Road project, with the Local Road Improvement Fund payment to be used for the initial loan payment; all in favor, motion carried. ● The Budget Workshop was scheduled for Tuesday, September 29th, 2026 at 4pm. ● The budget hearing is scheduled for October 13th at 5pm, with the Village Board meeting to follow. Previous Business ● The village is still looking for a plowing contractor for the 2026-2027 season. ● The shelter project was started, but was delayed due to weather conditions. ● Jerome Street and Third Street continue to degrade. ● Village Hall Window - no updates ● Welton Drive Dead End Sign - Sign has been ordered, and the diggers hotline has been called. Information – 1. GCAC Update – No updates 2. Groundwater Committee - No updates 3. Park Committee - An additional $25,000 was donated from the Richard Wolding Trust. 4. Fire Commission - No meetings. 5. Planning Commission - No meeting. Adjournment 6:35 pm
