Planning Commission

VILLAGE OF NELSONVILLE   PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING   ZOOM MEETING - Wednesday, May 21, 2020, at 6:00 pm     Members Present: Dan Bootz, Wally Leppen, Josh Stolzenburg, Wally Leppen, Amy Hussin, Katy   Bailey     1. Call to order   D. Bootz called the meeting to order at 6:00 pm.   2. Approval of March Minutes   J. Stolzenburg made a motion to approve the April meeting minutes, D. Bootz seconded. Motion   was carried.   3. Public comments   No public comments at this time.   4. Appointment of Committee Chairperson / Minute Taker   A. Hussin was recently appointed to the committee and volunteered to take minute notes for   future meetings. J. Stolzenburg will continue on as the chairperson of the Planning Commission.   5. Review of Road Projects   W. Leppen reported to the group that the double chipsealing project for Welton Drive and 1st   Street will cost approximately $22,500. The Village Road Fund currently has enough to cover   approximately 60% of the project. After much discussion, the committee decided to propose to   the village board to move funds from the General Account to pay for the cost.     6. Village Hall Discussion   The Village Hall sub-committee has not yet had a chance to meet, so no updates at this time.     7. Next meeting to be held on Thursday, June 25, 6 pm on Zoom   8.
