August Board Meeting

VILLAGE OF NELSONVILLE VILLAGE BOARD MEETING MINUTES Tuesday 8.15.23 6pm UNAPPROVED MINUTES Meeting was called to order by President Judah Haas Present at the meeting were: President Judah Haas, Trustee Mark Brueggeman, Trustee Walter Leppen and Clerk/Treasurer Daniel Bootz. President Judah Haas Citizens Present: Kim Krupka Meeting called to order by Haas M/S, Leppen/Bruggeman move to approve July 11th board minutes, all in favor, motion carried. Treasurer’s report submitted by Clerk/Treasurer Daniel Bootz. M/S, Leppen/ Brueggeman ,move to pay the bills as presented by Clerk/Treasurer, Daniel Bootz, , all in favor, motion carried. Correspondence- Information regarding initial Portage County Water Testing was shared. Public Statements: Discussion Items: Village Hall Construction – Well will be drilled by the end of the month, concrete is completed and framing should be started within a week of the board meeting. Committee has chosen fittings, roof materials and siding design, which will include a partial brick design. Goal is for the building to be completed by November 2023. Previous Business and Possible Decisions Information – 1. GCAC Update – No updates 2. Groundwater Committee – Next meeting is scheduled for August 24th. 3. Park Committee - No updates 4. Fire Commission – No updates 5. Planning Committee – Wally is working on the Portage County Comprehensive Planning Committee. A survey will be issued, which will be available online or available from Village Clerks. 6. Village Hall Committee - Scheduled for August 24th September Meeting was scheduled September 7 th at 6pm.
