June Board Meeting

VILLAGE OF NELSONVILLE VILLAGE BOARD MEETING MINUTES Tuesday 6.13.23 6pm UNAPPROVED MINUTES Meeting was called to order by President Judah Haas Present at the meeting were: President Judah Haas, Trustee Mark Brueggeman, Trustee Walter Leppen and Clerk/Treasurer Daniel Bootz. President Judah Haas Citizens Present: Mark Pearson, Jay Gordon, Cheryl Hucke Meeting called to order by Haas M/S, Bruggeman/Leppen move to approve May 9th and May 23rd board minutes, all in favor, motion carried. Treasurer’s report submitted by Clerk/Treasurer Daniel Bootz. M/S, Leppen/Brueggeman,move to pay the bills as presented by Clerk/Treasurer, Daniel Bootz, minus tax applied to Kleins Tree Service, all in favor, motion carried. Correspondence- Public Statements: Discussion Items: Village Hall Phase I – Foundation will be poured at the end of the June. The cost of phase 1 (site prep, foundation, holding tank, etc…) will cost approximately $60,000. Lawn Care Services – TJS will be invoicing for the rest of the contract so village can write one check. TJS also submitted a bid for $2000 to clean up the trees, brush around fence and basketball court. Previous Business and Possible Decisions New Village Trustee Emails – Email format will be first initial, last name. Animal Control Group – Nelsonville joined the animal control group as of June 1st. Committee Membership – Village Hall – Walter Leppen, Mark Pearson, Jay Gordon, and Jerry Dunn. Water – Tor Anderson, Mark Brueggeman, James Walker, Bob Cononchen, Tarion O’Carrol, Sally Predieux, and Dave Waller. Fire Commission – Jery Trebitowski Planning/Zoning – Judah Haas, Jay Gordon, Walter Leppen, remaining committee is pending. Parks – Pending Information – 1. GCAC Update – No updates 2. Groundwater Committee – Monitoring well construction is completed and they have started pulling samples from them. 3. Park Committee – Judah will be talking to the Nelsonville Lutheran Church members about the park goals. 4. Fire Commission – No updates 5. Planning Committee – No updates Adjourned 6:50 pm.
