VILLAGE OF NELSONVILLE VILLAGE BOARD MEETING MINUTES Tuesday 2.14.23 6pm UNAPPROVED MINUTES Meeting was called to order by President Josh Stolzenburg Present at the meeting were: President Josh Stolzenburg, Trustee Mark Brueggeman, Trustee Walter Leppen and Clerk/Treasurer Daniel Bootz. Citizens present: Jay Gordon, James Walker, MaryAnn Walker, Sally Prideaux, Lisa Anderson, Tor Anderson, Lois Brueggeman, Judah Haas, Jen McNelly, Kyle Gordon, M/S, Leppen/Bruggeman move to approve January Board minutes, all in favor, motion carried. Treasurer’s report submitted by Clerk/Treasurer Daniel Bootz. M/S, Leppen/Brueggeman move to pay the bills as presented by Clerk/Treasurer, Daniel Bootz, all in favor, motion carried. Public Statements: Discussion Items: Monitoring Well Presentation – Jen McNelly presented information on the Portage County plan of installing monitoring well within the Village for the purpose of gathering information and provide guidance on well construction. Portage County Animal Control Group – M/S Stolzenburg/Brueggeman to join and pay for membership in the Portage County Animal Control Group, all in favor, motion carried. Spring Primary Referendum – Discussed ballot resolution that will be on the February 21 st election. Information – 1. GCAC Update – No Updates 2. Groundwater Committee – Sally Priedeax has been appointed to the groundwater committee 3. Park Committee – No Updates 4. Fire Commission – No updates 5.
