VILLAGE OF NELSONVILLE VILLAGE BOARD MEETING MINUTES Via Zoom Meeting Tuesday 12/14/21 6pm UNAPPROVED MINUTES The meeting was called to order by President Josh Stolzenburg. Present at the meeting were: President Josh Stolzenburg, Trustee Mark Brueggeman, Trustee Walter Leppen and Clerk/Treasurer Daniel Bootz. Citizens present: Rubina Martini, Bobby Bailey Meeting was called to order. M/S, Bruggeman/Leppen move to approve the November Board minutes, all in favor, motion carried. Treasurer’s report submitted by Clerk/Treasurer Daniel Bootz. M/S, Leppen/Brueggeman, move to pay the bills as presented by Clerk/Treasurer Daniel Bootz, all in favor, motion carried. Correspondence was reviewed. Public Statements – None M/S Leppn/Brueggeman move to approve 2022-2023 Election Inspectors, all in favor, motion carried M/S Leppen/Brueggeman move to approve Ordinance # 2021-12-14, all in favor, motion carried Park Commission has recommended that the village contract with Revi Design. The committee met with several contractors before making this recommending. Board reviewed plan for developing park comprehensive plan. M/S Stolzenburg/Brueggeman – move to approve Revi Design for park redesign work with a budget of $6000. Village Caucus was scheduled for January 11th at 5:30pm at the Village Hall. There will be an online meeting option. Sobek Architects is still working on the village hall bid package. Village Plowing update – Follow up with Glodowski regarding corner of Jerome and High Street and widening Oak Street and Jerome. Updates GCAC – No updates Groundwater – Meeting scheduled on 12/16 at 6pm to discuss January testing and possibly applying for a grant through the Nelsonville Evangelical Lutheran Church Foundation to drill a public well at the Village Hall. Park Commission – See above. Fire Commission – No update Planning Commission – No update Board acknowledged the passing of Helene Anderson, former resident of Nelsonville.
