VILLAGE OF NELSONVILLE VILLAGE BOARD MEETING MINUTES Via Zoom Meeting Tuesday 11.10.20 6:30pm UNAPPROVED MINUTES The meeting was called to order by President Josh Stolzenburg. Present at the meeting were: President Josh Stolzenburg, Trustee Mark Brueggeman, Trustee Walter Leppen and Clerk/Treasurer Daniel Bootz, Stolzenburg Citizens present: Gale Gordon, Mark Pearson, Karla Leppen, Jery Dunn, Meeting was called to order. M/S, Leppen/Brueggeman, move to approve the October 13 Board Minutes, all in favor, motion carried. M/S Leppen/Stolzenburg – move to approval minutes from the October 22nd Budget meeting Treasurer’s report submitted by Clerk/Treasurer Daniel Bootz. M/S, Stolzenburg/Leppen, move to pay the bills as presented by Clerk/Treasurer Daniel Bootz, all in favor, motion carried. M/S Leppen/Brueggeman moved to pay the bills. Correspondence was reviewed. Public Statements – M. Pearson – Thanked the village for putting up the flag. Inquired on the status of the use of UTVs in the village. Leppen – Is looking at the cost of UTV signs around the village and seeking Portage County guidance on whether UTVs will be permitted on the highways connecting the village. G. Gordon – Expressed support for the use of UTVs throughout the village. Discussion/Action – Election Review – 110 total voters. Election results have been posted at the Village Post office Welton Drive Tree Trimming - Will likely be completed on 11.11.20 Email list for Village Meetings Agendas and Standing Schedules – Bootz requested that Committees commit to a standard schedule for meetings and establish an email list to send out agendas to interested residents. Stolzenburg – Will follow up with Committee Chairs regarding establishing regular meeting times.
