Committee Business
a. Consider/recommend Resolution 26-R3391 new 2026-2027 Class "B” Fermented Malt
Beverage & "Class C" Wine Licenses to Lucky 7 Sport, LLC
Applicant, Brenda Caraballo, was not in attendance. BP Owner, Sukhwinder Pal, was present.
Clerk Kozlik explained that the application was from Brenda as tenant for the bar premises
requested at the BP Gas Station location and that BP already was licensed with a Class A retail
sales license. Capt. Brad Timm indicated the Police Department was not in support of an
additional license for the gas station and noted the congested, small space and the recent
revocation at the other BP with different ownership. Discussion was had and it was asked if it was
the intention to put amusement games into that space and Soni said he didn’t think so, but he was
going to be leasing the space. Kowieski said if it doesn’t pass not a reflection of the business he
has run, but the lack of desire for it and bad message for youth to grab a beer and drink and drive.
The recent revocation from a similar BP was also referenced and Spiegelberg did not think it was a
good fit.
