TOWN OF BURKE BOARD OF REVIEW Thursday, August 22, 2019 6:00 p.m. (must be in session for at least two hours) at the Town Hall, 5365 Reiner Rd., Madison WI 53718 1) Call to order. 2) State for the record Board Members present. 3) Appoint a Chair. 4) State for the record that Steve Berg completed the required training on May 7, 2018. 5) Review law changes. 6) Receipt of the Assessment Roll by Deputy Clerk from the Assessor. 7) Deputy Clerk states for the record that the assessment roll has been received and is signed by the Assessor. 8) Examine the roll and verify open book changes are included. 9) Consideration of waivers of the 48 hour notice of intent to file an objection. 10) Hear objections. 11) State rules: proceedings are taped, speak clearly, identify self when speaking, hearings are conducted similar to a court of law, evidence is presented through sworn oral testimony and cross examination of witnesses. 12) Hold hearings/deliberations and findings of fact. 13) Adjourn (no sooner than 8:00 p.m.). It is possible that members of and possibly a quorum of members of other governmental bodies of the municipality may Be in attendance at the above stated meeting to gat her information; no action will be taken by any gov ernmental body at the above meeting, other than the governmental body spe cifically referred to in this notice.
