Town of Bristol Parks Committee Meeting Notes Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at 5:30 pm @ Bristol Town Hall Notes I. Call to Order Dave and Tamara present at 5:35 II. Review and approval of minutes from April 1, 2025 meeting. III. May park clean up and tree planting is coming soon. Review the flyer. Discuss promotion through social media, news paper, signs, and contacts with local groups. Nancy contacting Columbus Nhs and Ffa to help. Tamara to contact the NHS and scouts for help. We should flag them. IV. Tree pick up date should be determined. We also need a plan to water the trees and mulch them. Deer fencing is probably a good thing to do. Reports will need to be submitted. Need warning tape around holes. V. Park awareness week(s) is something we tried last year. Discuss options for this year. A scavenger hunt at each park. Maybe 2 weeks. TBD. VI. Update on Bristol Gardens field fencing. Dustin to fix. VII. Update on dog poop issue at Brooks Ridge Trail. Scott Mankes to walk it more. Put in more signs. VIII. Discuss committee positions and appoint leader(s). Nancy to do tree grants. Dave and Tamara to talk. IX. Public Comment/Questions items not on agenda. Bristol Gardens trash can is missing. X.
