Town of Bristol Parks Committee Meeting Agenda Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at 5:30 pm @ Bristol Town Hall Agenda I. Call to Order II. Review and approval of minutes from January 2025 meeting. III. Update of field rental MOU. IV. Scheduling software update. V. Update on Alliant tree grant and gift in honor of Jerry Derr. Alliant to announce awards in February with funding available in April 2025. VI. Discuss options to make the gravel path at Norway Road Estates Park passable by wheelchairs and strollers. VII. Plan for Park Clean up day 2025. The proposed date is Saturday, April 26, 2025. This is just after Earth Day. We need a list of maintenance items needed. Mulch will be spread at all parks except Town Hall. VIII. IX. Plan yearly improvement for 2025. Last year we pressure washed and sealed the bridge at Norway Road Estates Park. Is there a project that could help extend use of our parks? One idea is to add mulch to the trails in Brooks Ridge Nature Trail. This is an open discussion to be followed up with getting quotes and studying the impact. X. Public Comment/Questions items not on agenda XI. Next meeting: XII. Adjourn
