For Publication in the Times Tribune TOWN OF BLACK EARTH INVITATION TO BID FOR ROAD REPAIRS The Town of Black Earth will accept bids for seal coating on the following Town roads in 2026. Please bid separately on each item/project , giving a guaranteed maximum price and unit prices for equipment, labor, and materials. Contractors interested in bidding should contact Town Patrolman Jason Handel at 608-513-6371 for more information. Single Sealcoat Clean existing road surface, apply emulsified asphalt with full-width sprayer, and roll with pneumatic tire roller. Please QUOTE using 3/8-inch washed pea stone, and 3/8-inch black granite. Sealed bids are due by Monday, March 23, 2026, at 5:00 PM. To hand deliver: deliver to the Town Garage at 1103 Center St, Black Earth, WI 53515. To mail: send to PO Box 426, Black Earth, WI 53515. Bids will be opened on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at 9:00 AM in the lower level of the MBE CPA Accounting building at 1116 Mills St, Black Earth, WI 53515. The accepted bids will be awarded at the Town Board meeting on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at 6:30 PM. The Town of Black Earth reserves the right to award projects by individual roads to separate bidders, one bidder, or any combination thereof. The Town also reserves the right to reject any or all bids and/or reject the low bid for cause.
