For Publication in the Times Tribune TOWN OF BLACK EARTH INVITATION TO BID FOR ROAD REPAIRS The Town of Black Earth will accept bids for hot mix asphalt overlay on the following Town road in 202 6. Please bid separately on each item/project , giving a guaranteed maximum price and unit prices for equipment, labor, and materials. Contractors interested in bidding should contact Town Patrolman Jason Handel at 608 -513-6371 for more information. * TRIP funding available. Hot Mix Asphalt Overlay (2” overlay, approx.21’ wide, 2’ gravel shoulder on each side, ¾” limestone with fines) Midland Rd, at CTH KP, toward John Wilkinson Rd (TRIP section) 2091 ft. Wedging and Culvert Patch Paving Midland Rd – beginning at 200 ft from CTH KP, heading west 489 ft. Sealed bids are due by Monday, March 23, 2026, at 5:00 PM. To hand deliver: deliver to the Town Garage at 1103 Center St, Black Earth, WI 53515. To mail: send to PO Box 426, Black Earth, WI 53515. Bids will be opened on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at 9:00 AM in the lower level of the MBE CPA Accounting building at 1116 Mills St, Black Earth, WI 53515. The accepted bids will be awarded at the Town Board meeting on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at 6:30 PM. The Town of Black Earth reserves the right to award projects by individual roads to separate bidders, one bidder, or any combination thereof.
