City of Oconomowoc Protection & Welfare Committee Meeting Minutes June 16, 2026 - 6:45 PM Aldermen Present: Lou Kowieski, Karen Spiegelberg, Erik Jungwirth Also Present: Kevin Ellis, Zachary Frankowski, Charles Schellpeper, April Welch, Jennifer Aultman Kloth, Matt Rosek, Mark Frye, Gina Kozlik, Robert Duffy, Jason Gallo, James Pfister, Tim Reel, Steve Hatton Chairman Kowiewski called the Protection & Welfare Committee Meeting to order and appropriate meeting notice was confirmed at 6:44 PM. Committee Business a. Consider/recommend Resolution 26-R3378 Granting Renewal of 2026 – 2027 Alcohol Beverage Licenses City Clerk Kozlik explained that the licenses listed in the Resolution are the remaining renewal applications and have met with all state statute and city ordinance requirements and have passed any necessary inspections. Motion to recommend Resolution 26-R3378 granting renewal of 2026 - 2027 Alcohol Beverage Licenses made by Spiegelberg and seconded by Jungwirth. Motion carried 3-0-0. b. Consider/recommend Resolution 26-R3379 Granting New 2026 - 2027 "Class B" Intoxicating Liquor/Fermented Malt Beverage to Perseverance Corp. (The Badger Burger Co.) Kozlik provided information about the application for the formerly held license. Applicant and Agent, Mark Weiss, were present for any questions. It was confirmed this license was originally a Pabst Farms license and all requirements have been met. Motion to recommend Resolution 26- R3379 granting new 2026 - 2027 "Class B" Intoxicating Liquor/Fermented Malt Beverage to Perseverance Corp (The Badger Burger Co) made by Jungwirth, and seconded by Spiegelberg. Motion carried 3-0-0. c. Consider/recommend 2026 - 2027 Taxicab License Renewal for Oconomowoc Silver Streak Kozlik reviewed that there were 4 taxi vehicles that passed inspections with insurance information provided. Motion to recommend 2026 - 2027 Taxicab License renewal for Oconomowoc Silver Streak made by Jungwirth and seconded by Spiegelberg. Motion carried 3-0-0. d. Consider/act on 2026 - 2027 Taxicab Driver Licenses for Oconomowoc Silver Streak Kozlik reminded them that the taxi drivers are approved and acted on at Committee per the ordinance and these are renewals (18). The Motion to approve the 2026 - 2027 Taxicab Driver Licenses for Oconomowoc Silver Streak made by Jungwirth and seconded by Spiegelberg. Motion carried 3-0-0.
