10/7/25 Budget Work Meeting

Town of Black Earth Minutes of Town Board Budget Work Meeting Tuesday, October 7, 2025 1. Meeting call to Order. Town Chair Tom Turk called the meeting to order at 8:10 PM. Supervisors Barb Parrell, Joann Bennett, Treasurer Brenda Kahl, and Clerk Stephanie Zwettler were present. Also in attendance: Road Patrolman Jason Handel. 2. Proof of Posting. An affidavit of posting was provided. 3. Review town finances and draft of proposed 2026 budget, plan for future expenditures. The Town Board reviewed the draft 2026 budget and added changes. The proposed levy will not require a resolution to exceed the levy limit. 4. Adjourn. Tom Turk moved and Barb Parrell seconded the motion to adjourn. Motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 8:30 PM.
