Meeting notice in compliance. 14 People in attendance. Motion by Jungbluth/Skelton to approve agenda as presented. Carried by unanimous voice vote. Approval of Minutes - June 17, 2026 Minutes. Motion by Skelton/Jungbluth to approve minutes as presented. Carried by unanimous voice vote. Plan Commission Recommendation : Michael A Baum Trust, 1627 8th Dr., rezone 37.4 acres from A1-35 (farmland preservation) to A1-35 (Adams County Zoning Ordinance). Mike Kuss, Chairman of the Planning Commission Committee presented the recommendation to “Not Object” to the rezone request. After discussion and questions a Motion by Arndt/Skelton to “Not Object” to the rezoning request. Carried by unanimous voice vote. ATV/UTV Ordinance discussion only to review the town ordinance with the current county ordinance - General discussion and request to be added to August agenda for further review and possible ordinance. Discuss permitting for roads with weight restrictions - General discussion and questions to remove weight limit signs. Motion by Arndt/Skelton to remove current weight limit road signs. Carried by unanimous voice vote. 2026 Road Construction Project Update - Chairman Arndt provided an update. Department and District Reports - no actions required. Information only. Big Roche-A-Cri Lake District - Jungbluth Friendship Lake District - Skelton Adams County Solid Waste - Arndt Adams County Fire District - Jungbluth - Board provided direction for Jungbluth for the upcoming District meeting August 12th to Not accept the Fees schedule proposed.- EMS Lifestar Ambulance - Skelton Sheriff Report - Skelton Town of Preston Transfer Site - Arndt Highway Maintenance Department - Skelton - Discussed the need to financially prepare for replacement Plow Truck in the next 3-5 years. Correspondence Received - Citizens property concerns filed with Adams County, Amish buggy signs received and will be installed, response to open records request, WTA meeting notice, WE Natural Gas possible installation - Agenda item in August. Citizens notification of error at the cemetery for the marking site (Block12 Lot 6). Clerk Howard presented information of the error followed by general discussion and questions. Clerk Howard informed the board the error will be corrected by moving the urn by the end of July 2026. Set the next meeting dates and agenda items - August 19, 2026 at 7:00pm Guest update - None Treasurer’s Report & Payment of Bills - Treasure Booth provided a report. Motion by Jungbluth/Skelton to approve and file the treasurer's report and pay the bills. Motion carried by unanimous voice vote. Discussion by Treasure Booth to transfer $100,000 to State LGIP general savings account. Motion by Arndt/Skelton to approve transfer to LGIP account of $100,000. Carried by unanimous voice vote.
