Motion by Arndt/Skelton to approve agenda as presented. Carried by unanimous voice vote. Approval of Minutes - August 20, 2025, September 12, 2025 - Motion by Jungbluth/Skelton to approve minutes as presented. Carried by unanimous voice vote. Discussion and Motion to Close Bank Accounts at One Community Bank: After discussion a Motion by Arndt/Jungbluth to close all banking accounts at One Community Bank for the Town of Preston. Board approved the Clerk and Treasurer to notify the bank. Carried by unanimous voice vote. Adams County Planning & Zoning - Amendments Summary - General discussion and a date set for a public meeting to review and collect information for October 8, 2025 at 6:00pm. 2025 Road Construction Project Update - Chairman Arndt provided an update on road construction projects and a preliminary review of the proposed roads scheduled for 2026. Discussion and possible action for roads to apply for LRIP grants - Board presented potential roads to submit an application for LRIP funding. A budget review meeting will be scheduled and a recommendation will be presented at the October regular meeting. 2026 Budget Preparation - General discussion of the budget process and a date scheduled for a working board meeting for September 30, 2025 at 4:00pm. Update on Cemetery and Town Hall Property - No additional updates. Surveyor scheduled and meeting to be scheduled with neighbors. Department and District Reports - no actions required. No actions needed. Guest update - County Board Supervisors; Don provided updates and answered questions. Set next meeting date and agenda items - October 15, 2025 Treasurer’s Report & Payment of Bills - Motion by Arndt/Skelton to approve and file the treasurer's report and pay the bills.
