TOWN OF LEOLA Dave Roberts, Chairman 715-213-9677 Greg Sager, Supervisor 715-323-3254; Bruce Duellman 414-640-6899 Town website at www.townofleolawi.com TOWN BOARD MEETING Town Hall, 170 Apache Lane Wednesday May 20th, 2026 At 6:00pm Minutes Call to order 6:01 PM Pledge of Allegiance Approve minutes of April 14th, 2026: Greg Sager made a motion to approve the minutes from April 14th meeting. Bruce Duellman seconds Pay Bills-made motion to pay the bills. Bruce Duellman made a motion to pay the bills. Greg Sager seconded the motion Citizen input- Resident requesting an update on the beaver damn. Bruce Duellman stated he would get there to remove it. He waited until the water went down. Resident questions why it’s his problem alone and Bruce stated that Dave had him go to Paul’s because he has a relationship with Paul and that he will get there when he gets there. Chairman Roberts asked if there was a plan to resolves the beaver problem. And They discussed a couple of things to eliminate the beaver damn. They need to get a trapper and or the permits from the landowner and the DNR. Peggy Heuer asked about number 5 and 6 on the new business. Chairman Roberts will give an update once they get to the new business. New Business: Discussion with possible action-Patching and repairing potholes Chairman Roberts contacted the county and asked about the cracks and potholes and that County did drive our roads and came back with 191.50 per hour with about 6-8 hours of hours could be less. Rough est $1200.00 to do the cracks and potholes to be completed. Bruce Duellman makes a motion to approve hiring the county. Greg Sager seconded Discussion with possible action-Land use permit for Sandy Bula Greg Sager makes a motion to land use permit. Bruce Duellman seconded Discussion with possible action-Land use permit for Galus Jaroslaw Greg Sager makes a motion to land use permit. Bruce Duellman seconded Discussion about -Cemetery Bruce Duellman asked to have this added to the agenda. He was wondering why we stopped donating to the cemetery. Chairman Roberts stated that with the Wisconsin State Statue read. Discussion with possible action-Change order for 6th Avenue- Chairman Roberts has informed the board that there was a change order to do undercutting in a couple of areas and would like to table to see if there are some other options. Bruce Duellman Motion to table until all the specifics can be made. Greg Sager seconded Discussion with possible action- Change order for 3rd Avenue Chairman Roberts has been informed that here is a change order to add gravel into sections on 3rd to raise the low spots 460 tons with an increase cost of $9890.00 which is lower than they estimated in the bid of $12000.00. Bruce Duellman motion to approve the change order for 3rd Avenue. Greg Sager seconded the motion. Motion carried. Motion to Adjourn: Greg Sager motion to adjourn. Seconded by Bruce Duellman.
