TOWN OF LEOLA Dave Roberts, Chairman 715-213-9677 Greg Sager, Supervisor 715-323-3254; Bruce Duellman 414-640-6899 Town website at www.townofleolawi.com TOWN BOARD MEETING Town Hall, 170 Apache Lane Wednesday April 14th, 2026 At 6:00pm Minutes Call to order 6:00 PM Pledge of Allegiance Approve minutes of March 18th, 2026. Bruce Duellman made motion to approve the minutes. Greg Sager seconded. Motion to Pay the bills. Bruce Duellman wanted clarification on Own LLCs bill for plowing. Greg Sager motion to pay the bills. Bruce Duellman Second the motion Citizen input- Peggy Heuer wanted to address the snow plowing. She feels that this was a snowstorm of a century and that Peterson did an amazing job. Then the branch and tree clean up. She has said that the trees and branches looks good. Jeff Alhborn stated that when he asked if the plow did damage to his property it was his responsibility to take care of it. Jason (?) said that the county did a better job than we have now and that if we could get them to take over again that we should. New Business: *Chairman would like to strike line #7 for the meeting due to the duplication on Citizen Input was already discussed. Discussion with possible action-Changing date for May Meeting. Per request from Greg Sager he would like to change the meeting from May 20th to any other date. Chairman Dave Roberts, Supervisors Greg Sager and Bruce Duellman have reached an agreement to change May 20th, 2026, will be changed to May 19th, 2026 at 6:00pm. Motion made from Greg Sager to change May 20th to May 19th. Bruce Duellman seconded the motion. Discussion with possible action- Snow Plowing concerns. Chairman Dave Roberts had someone summit pictures of damages to the road from the snowstorm and that he was in contact with Peterson movers LLC. Dave and Mike will have an agreement set up for future incidents concerning damage to the roads. Mike stated he will be willing to cover damage this time to the asphalt roads. Discussion with possible action- Branch and tree clean up. Chairman Dave Roberts said that a good majority of the trees and brush has been cleaned up and that we still have some more to cut and take care of. Supervisor Bruce Duellman stated that his wife and himself have 50 hours in clearing and cleaning up a lot of trees and brush. Bruce would like to thank everyone in the town that took time to clean up by their homes it was appreciated. Discussion with possible action- Pothole repair and patching. Chairman Dave Roberts stated that there are some roads that have pothole and patching that needed to be addressed and that he would loke to reach out to the County to see if they could address these roads and will have more information at the next meeting. Discussion with possible action- 3rd Ave Project. Chairman Dave Roberts wants to take a vote on the 3rd Ave project to see if we would like to add it to the 6th Ave Project. We will be getting a better deal since they are already in the area. Bruce Duellman is in favor of doing that if we can keep the project fees under a close eye. Chairman Dave Roberts calls for a vote all in favor three votes yes and zero objections. Chairman Dave Roberts will contact Synder and Associates and let them know that we will be going ahead with adding 3rd Ave to the 6th Ave project. Discussion with possible action- Land Use Permit for Ron Fink. Motion made Greg Sager approve the land use permit for Ron Fink.
