TOWN OF LEOLA Dave Roberts, Chairman 715-213-9677 Greg Sager, Supervisor 715-323-3254; Eric Fahser, Supervisor 715-213-0717 Town website at www.townofleolawi.com NOTICE OFPUBLIC MEETING TOWN BOARD MEETING Town Hall, 170 Apache Lane Wednesday March 20th 2024 At 6:00pm Minutes Call to order at 6:05 PM Pledge of Allegiance Approve minutes of June February 14th 2024 meeting Motion by Greg Sager to approve minutes Eric Fahser second. Motion carried Treasure Report: Motion by Greg Sager to approve Treasures report Eric Fahser second. Motion carried Pay Bills: Motion by Greg Sager to approve paying the bills Eric Fahser second. Motion carried New Business: 1. Discussion with possible action- Road work and plans. Chairman Dave Roberts started the discussion with that may of our roads are in need for repair. Some need gravel added, cracks need to be addressed and also the future roads that would benefit to chip seal. He has requested to put bids out for gravel hauling and crack filling. The bids will be opened and discussed at the next Town Board meeting. Motion by Greg Sager to approve bid request Eric Fahser second. Motion carried 2. Discussion with possible action-Union Telephone Construction Applications. The board has received request to allow Union telephone company to install fiber optic cables to both Town Halls Motion by Greg Sager to approve the applications Eric Fahser second. Motion carried 3. Discussion- Future decision on zoning. Chairman Dave Roberts has requested to discuss the possibilities to bring Town Zoning to the Town. There are many benefits to doing so. Supervisors Eric Fahser and Greg Sagor have asked if we could have further discussion with a consulting firm.at the next meeting. Chairman Roberts is going to contact some and see who is available. 4. Discussion with possible action- Change in Town Hall Hours of operation from Tuesday and Thursday 3-7 to Tuesdays and Thursday 10-2 and after hour appointments. Chairman Dave Roberts believes with the daytime hours would be beneficial to the Town. Motion by Greg Sager approves hour changes Eric Fahser second. Motion carried 5.
