TOWN OF BIG FLATS - TOWN BOARD MEETING February 14, 2023 - 6:00 PM Call to Order: Chairman Reed called the meeting to order, the pledge was recited. Town Clerk O’Neil was excused from the meeting. Bills and Payroll: Supervisor Kipfer made a motion to pay bills, Supervisor Clark 2nd, all in favor. March Meeting Minutes: Supervisor Kipfer made a motion to accept minutes, Supervisor Clark 2nd, all in favor. Treasurers Report: Town Clerk read balances, debits, and credits for all town accounts. No comments or questions were made, Chairman Reed asked the reports to be filed for audit. Fire Department Report: Chief Meyers reported on January activities. Committee Reports: Jay Jocham informed the board of the Zoning activity for the township. Pam Marquardt gave an update on Friends of Big Flats Firehouse. Meet and Greet Fire Department Officers: Chief Meyers introduced members of Fire Department. Fire Department Dryer: Chairman Reed notified everyone of installation and invited them to take a look after the meeting. Tractor Purchase: Supervisor Clark made a motion to purchase. Supervisor Kifer 2nd, all in favor. Business License: Item was tabled for a future agenda. Rasing Fines to help cover court costs: Item was tabled for future agenda. Planning Commission Meeting: Scheduled for February 15th, 2023 Appointment of New Clerk: Supervisor Kipfer made a motion to appoint Terri Horachek as Town Clerk, Supervisor Clark 2nd, all in favor.
