Budget Hearing Minutes Town of Weyauwega American Legion – 303 N Mill St, Weyauwega WI 54983 Nov 3, 2025 1. Budget for 2026 Hearing called to order a. Chairmen/Dave Stelzer called to order the Budget Hearing of Town of Weyauwega at 6:00pm on Nov 3, 2025, at Town Hall/American Legion. 2. Roll call a. Clerk/Sonia Thede-Kramer conducted a roll call. The following persons were present: Chairman/Dave Stelzner, Supervisor/Terry Wilz, Supervisor/John Neuman, Treasurer/Jodi Wilz and Clerk/Sonia Thede- Kramer. b. Public –Jim Biddison, Ann Stearns, Dan Stearns and Joel Larsen. 3. Discussion/Review Budget a. Clerk/Sonia Thede-Kramer opened the discussion and review of the budget she presented. The board went through the budget line by line for 2026. Public/Jim Biddison asked about reducing the amount for public safety. Clerk/Sonia Thede-Kramer stated that since we have road projects that would like to happen in 2026, she reduced the amount for public safety to $5,000 and put the funds in roads. Treasurer/Jodi Wilz suggested if don’t use the Misc Expense, can move that to public safety. She also stated the last time funds were used from the public safety account was 2/10/17. Clerk/Sonia Thede-Kramer suggested if need to can always move the interest accumulated on the ARPA account can be used any way we feel. Treasurer/Jodi Wilz asked to leave some funds in the account, so it doesn’t go away. Supervisor/Terry Wilz made a motion to move the ARPA interest to public safety, but Clerk/Sonia Thede-Kramer stated if we move the funds now the local levy will change. He redacted the motion. Leaving the interest as is and if need be, it is available. 4. Citizens Recommendations of Budget a. Public – No other recommendations were given. 5. Hearing Adjourned a. Motion to adjourn Budget Hearing at 6:17pm by Supervisor/Terry Wilz, seconded by Supervisor/John Neuman, all ayes, motion carried. The following persons were present: Chairman/Dave Stelzner, Supervisor/Terry Wilz, Supervisor/John Neuman, Treasurer/Jodi Wilz and Clerk/Sonia Thede- Kramer. b. Motion to Approve the Budget 2026 as printed by Supervisor/John Neuman, seconded by Supervisor/Terry Wilz, all ayes, motion carried. 4.
