Town of Taft Minutes to Monthly Meeting Feb. 10, 2026 The Feb. meeting of the Town Board was called to order at 7:10pm. All the members were present. Verification of Postings: Website, Town Hall, Otter Lake Bait Feb. 9, 2026 There was a motion from Jerry Czubakowski, 2nd by Del Kroeplin to approve and pay all current bills. Approval was given by voice roll call: Del yes, Jerry yes, Darrell yes, Motion carried. There was a motion from Del Kroeplin, 2nd by Jerry Czubakowski, to approve the minutes of the Jan. 26 monthly meeting notes. Approval was given by voice roll call: Del yes, Jerry yes, Darrell yes, Motion carried. There was a motion from Jerry Czubakowski, 2nd by Del Kroeplin to approve the treasures report for the month of Jan. Approval was given by voice roll call: Del yes, Jerry yes, Darrell yes, Motion carried. Driveway/Culvert Permit. Nothing at this time Date and time were set the 2025 annual audit for March 10, 2026, immediately following the regular board meeting. Announced the RESET Presentation at Celebration Hall Feb. 25th RSVP is requested. Road Maintenance: Truck went to Taylor County Shop for repairs LSSIP 6’-20’ culverts, guidelines and application are available now for the 90/10 grant. Application deadline is May 1, 2026. At this time, we have 2 culverts that fall into the 0-2 category. We will continue to move forward to apply for these. District Meeting put on by the Wis. Towns Assoc. is March 7 at the Florian Gardens in EC. During this meeting Board of Review training will be offered. Darrell, Jerry, Lori and Lana will attend. Roads: Taylor County fixed the potholes on County Line. Roads seem to be getting better after the ice storm.
