Town of Taft Minutes to Monthly Meeting Jan. 13, 2026 The Jan. meeting of the Town Board was called to order at 7:17pm. All the members were present. Verification of Postings: Website, Town Hall, Otter Lake Bait Jan. 12, 2026 There was a motion from Jerry Czubakowski, 2nd by Del Kroeplin to approve and pay all current bills. Approval was given by voice roll call: Del yes, Jerry yes, Darrell yes, Motion carried. There was a motion from Del Kroeplin, 2nd by Jerry Czubakowski, to approve the minutes of the Dec. 2025 monthly meeting notes. Approval was given by voice roll call: Del yes, Jerry yes, Darrell yes, Motion carried. There was a motion from Jerry Czubakowski, 2nd by Del Kroeplin to approve the treasures report for the month of Dec. Approval was given by voice roll call: Del yes, Jerry yes, Darrell yes, Motion carried. Driveway/Culvert Permit. Nothing at this time Road Maintenance: Discussion about chains for the Plow Truck. We should look ahead making sure we are ready for any upcoming reasons that either the grader or the plow truck would be needed. Per our Mailbox Damage Policy, we will be sending a check to Caleb Martin for the accidental damage by our grader.
