Town of Taft Minutes to Monthly Meeting Dec. 9, 2025 Condolences to the Jim Isenberger Family, The Dec. meeting of the Town Board was called to order at 7:12pm. All the members were present. Verification of Postings: Website, Town Hall, Otter Lake Bait Dec. 8, 2025 There was a motion from Jerry Czubakowski, 2nd by Del Kroeplin to approve and pay all current bills. Approval was given by voice roll call: Del yes, Jerry yes, Darrell yes, Motion carried. There was a motion from Del Kroeplin, 2nd by Jerry Czubakowski, to approve the minutes of the Nov. 2025 monthly meeting notes. Approval was given by voice roll call: Del yes, Jerry yes, Darrell yes, Motion carried. There was a motion from Jerry Czubakowski, 2nd by Del Kroeplin to approve the treasures report for the month of Nov. Approval was given by voice roll call: Del yes, Jerry yes, Darrell yes, Motion carried. Driveway/Culvert Permit. Kevin Kurth was given a temporary logging permit. There was a motion by Jerry Czubakowski, 2nd by Del Kroeplin to reimburse Lexi Person $25 for a culvert permit which was not going to be used. Approval was given by voice roll call: Del yes, Jerry yes, Darrell AB. Motion carried. There was a motion by Del Kroeplin, 2nd by Jerry Czubakowski to exceed expenditures in the expense categories of the 2025 budget required to pay all expenditures of 2025 in full. Approval was given by voice roll call: Del yes, Jerry yes, Darrell yes, Motion carried. There was a motion by Jerry Czubakowski, 2nd by Del Kroeplin to transfer $11010 back to the Highway Reconditioning Fund account ending in 7164. Approval was given by voice roll call: Del yes, Jerry yes, Darrell yes, Motion carried. There was a motion by Del Kroeplin, 2nd by Jerry Czubakowski to accept the nominations for poll workers as follows: Angie Welch, Judy Cornell, Cheryl Forester, Karen Kroeplin, Carolyn Penk. Approval was given by voice roll call: Del yes, Jerry yes, Darrell yes, Motion carried. There was a motion by Del Kroeplin, 2nd by Jerry Czubakowski to approve a 2026 budget amendment as follows: Misc. Town Revenue was increased by $80,000, Misc Town revenue was increased by $80,000 changing both revenue and expense totals to $303,942. Approval was given by voice roll call: Del yes, Jerry yes, Darrell yes, Motion carried. There was a motion by Del Kroeplin, 2nd by Jerry Czubakwoski to approve transferring $5000 per 2025 budget, plus an extra $1000 to each contingency fund: Fire Reserve Fund, Highway Reconditioning Fund, Equipment Fund. Approval was given by voice roll call: Del yes, Jerry yes, Darrell yes, Motion carried. Certified Mileage Report: completed and mailed. PASER Survey: completed and submitted. There was a motion by Del Kroeplin, 2nd by Jerry Czubakowski to establish a new checking account at Superior Credit Union for the purpose of revenue and expenditures having to do with the ARIP Grant for Skyline Drive Project. The opening balance of $38,535 was eft money received from the State ARIP program reimbursement plan. Approval was given by voice roll call: Del yes, Jerry yes, Darrell yes, Motion carried. Road Maintenance: Plow Truck has been fixed and ready to use.
