Town of Taft Minutes to Monthly Meeting Sept. 9, 2025 The Sept. meeting of the Town Board was called to order at 7:15pm. All the members were present. Verification of Postings: Website, Town Hall, Otter Lake Bait Sept. 8, 2025 There was a motion from Jerry Czubakowski, 2nd by Del Kroeplin to approve and pay all current bills. Approval was given by voice roll call: Del yes, Jerry yes, Darrell yes, Motion carried. There was a motion from Del Kroeplin, 2nd by Jerry Czubakowski, to approve the minutes of the Aug 2025 monthly meeting. Approval was given by voice roll call: Del yes, Jerry yes, Darrell yes, Motion carried. There was a motion from Jerry Czubakowski, 2nd by Del Kroeplin to approve the treasures report for the month of Aug. Approval was given by voice roll call: Del yes, Jerry yes, Darrell yes, Motion carried. Driveway/Culvert Permit. Bill Bibeau has been completed and signed off. Have not heard from Gabe Acker. 2026 Fire District Budget has not been presented but will remain the same as last year. There was a motion by Jerry Czubakowski, 2nd by Del Kroeplin to pay the 3rd installment. Approval was given by voice roll call: Del yes, Jerry yes, Darrell yes, Motion carried. There was a motion by Del Kroeplin, 2nd by Jerry Czubakowski to amend the Snowplowing, Grading, Equipment Use Policy and Fee Schedule. Approval was given by voice roll call: Del yes, Jerry yes, Darrell yes, Motion carried. Clerk will rewrite. Wisconsin Towns Association Fall Workshop. Darrell, Jerry and Lori will attend. Registration fee of $85 each will be paid. Road Maintenance: There was a motion by Del Kroeplin, 2nd by Jerry Czubakowski to approve replacing the Culvert on Pinewood Dr in the Dream Lake area. Approval was given by voice roll call: Del yes, Jerry yes, Darrell yes, Motion carried. The Culvert on Meridian, Pinewood, Ness roads will be tabled until next year. Reconsider gravel application for this year has been tabled. Roads: Logging issue on Mud Lake Road, David Oberle will clean up the issue. Recycling: Some discussion about people who don’t live in our township using our recycling.
