Town of Taft Minutes to Monthly Meeting Mar.13, 2025 Condolences to the Rosemeyer Family for the death of Dorothy Rosemeyer. The Mar. meeting of the Town Board was called to order at 7:08pm.Allthe members were present. Verification of Postings:Town Hall,Otter Lake Bait, Foxx DenMar. 12, 2025 There was a motion fromJerry Czubakowski,2ndbyDel Kroeplinto approve and pay all current bills. Approval was given by voice roll call: Delyes, Jerry yes, Darrell yes,Motion carried. The was a motion from Del Kroeplin,2 nd by Jerry Czubakowski to approve the minutes of theFeb. 2025 monthly meeting. Approval was given by voice roll call: Del yes, Jerry yes, Darrell yes, Motion carried. There was a motion byDel Kroeplin, 2nd byJerry Czubakowski,to approve the Treasurer’s Report.Approval was given by voice roll call: Del yes, Jerry yes, Darrell yes, Motion carried. Driveway/CulvertPermit. Nothing at this time. There was a motion by Del Kroeplin, 2 nd by Jerry Czubakowski to approve renting a handicapped toilet for $185 a month from Black River Transport. They will deliver in the months that we need it and pick it up at the end of that month.Approval was given by voice roll call: Del yes , Jerry yes, Darrell yes, Motion carried. Darrell with check with them regarding an option to buy. Road Maintenance A. Chip Seal Bids. There was a motion by Del Kroeplin, 2 nd by Jerry Czubakowski to hire Taylor County Highway Dept. to complete this project when and if the project is decided to complete. 1 mile Pinewood (first mile west of Hwy 73), 1 middle mile Meridian between County Rd F and S.Approval was given by voice roll call: Del yes, Jerry yes, Darrell yes, Motion carried. B. Spray Patching/Crack Filling. There was a motion by Jerry Czubakowski, 2nd by Del Kroeplin to authorize Chairman Darrell Thompson to get a proposal from Taylor County Highway Dept for the cost on Meridian and Pinewood for approximately 3 miles. C. ARIP Update. There was a motion by Del Kroeplin, 2nd by Jerry Czubakowski to approve purchasing and providing refreshments and snacks for the ARIP Publicity Event w hich will take place on March 19 th at the Town Hall. Approval was given by voice roll call: Del yes, Jerry yes, Darrell yes, Motion carried. The design proposal should be here for the month of the April Meeting. D. Material Vanders, Gravel, Granite, Dust Control was all tabled There was a motion by Jerry Czubakowski, 2 nd by Del Kroeplin to sell the old plow truck through Wisconsin Surplus. We can set the price, and it will not cost us anything as the buyer pays the fees. Approval was given by voice roll call: Del yes, Jerry yes, Darrell yes, Motion carried.
