Town of Taft Minutes to Monthly Meeting Oct 22, 2024 The Oct meeting of the Town Board was called to order at 7:13pm. All members present. Verification of Postings: Town Hall, Otter Lake Bait, Foxx Den, on Oct. 20, 2024. There was a motion from Jerry Czubakowski, 2nd by Del Kroeplin to approve and pay all current bills. Approval was given by voice roll call: Del yes, Jerry yes, Darrell yes, Motion carried. There was a motion by Del Kroeplin, 2nd by Jerry Czubakowski to accept minutes as read. Approval was given by voice roll call: Del yes, Jerry yes, Darrell yes, Motion carried. There was a motion by Jerry Czubakowski, 2nd by Del Kroeplin to approve the Treasurer’s Report. Approval was given by voice roll call: Del yes, Jerry yes, Darrell yes, Motion carried. Driveway/Culvert Permit: Jason & Mary LaMotte applied and paid fees for Culvert permit on School Rd. There was a motion by Del Kroeplin, 2nd by Jerry Czubakowski to approved treasurers Treasury Bond. Approval was given by voice roll call: Del yes, Jerry yes, Darrell yes, Motion carried. The 6-20 culvert check has been completed by Taylor County. Grading needs to be done once it rains. There was a motion by Jerry Czubakowski, 2nd by Del Kroeplin to approve setting the date for the Budget Meeting & Meeting of the Electors for Nov. 6 @ 7pm. Approval was given by voice roll call: Del yes, Jerry yes, Darrell yes, Motion carried. Paying the Contingency Accounts per Budget was tables until Nov. *Discussion on Recycling: Going ok *Discussion on General Operations: Set Tentative Date for the next meeting Nov. 19, 2024 Motion to adjourn by Del, 2nd by Jerry Time 7:55pm Reconvened at 8.09pm for Budget Planning Meeting Board went through the budget numbers. There was a motion by Del Kroeplin, 2nd by Jerry Czubakowski to endorse the Proposed Budget for 2025. Approval was given by voice roll call: Del yes, Jerry yes, Darrell yes, Motion carried.
