Town of Taft Minutes to Monthly Meeting Sept 17, 2024 The August meeting of the Town Board was called to order at 7:02pm. All members present. Verification of Postings: Town Hall, Otter Lake Bait, Foxx Den, on Sept. 16, 2024. There was a motion from Jerry Czubakowski, 2nd by Del Kroeplin to approve and pay all current bills. Approval was given by voice roll call: Del yes, Jerry yes, Darrell yes, Motion carried. There was a motion by Del Kroeplin, 2nd by Jerry Czubakowski to accept minutes as read. Approval was given by voice roll call: Del yes, Jerry yes, Darrell yes, Motion carried. There was a motion by Jerry Czubakowski, 2nd by Del Kroeplin to approve the Treasurer’s Report. Approval was given by voice roll call: Del yes, Jerry yes, Darrell yes, Motion carried. Driveway/Culvert Permit: Nothing at this time. There was a motion by Del Kroeplin, 2nd by Jerry Czubakowski to authorize treasurer to secure Treasury Bond. Approval was given by voice roll call: Del yes, Jerry yes, Darrell yes, Motion carried. There was a motion by Jerry Czubakowski, 2nd by Darrell Thompson to set the Budget Hearing for Electorate for Nov. 21 7pm Regular Meeting that month would be Nov. 19, 7pm Approval was given by voice roll call: Del yes, Jerry yes, Darrell yes, Motion carried. Date for the Budget Planning Meeting was set for Oct. 22 immediately following the reg. monthly meeting Roads: TRI Entitlement Project is complete. Roads in WISLER needs to be done by Dec. Darrell talk to landowner Beachy about some rocks put by the culvert on County Line Rd. Beachy said he would take care of that. *Discussion on Recycling: Going ok *Discussion on General Operations: Set Tentative Date for the next meeting Oct. 22, 2024, 7pm Budget Planning Meeting Oct. 22, following reg. meeting Lana will take some training for tax collections.
