Town of Iola Iola, Wisconsin www.townofiola.com Bruce Faldet, Supervisor Mark Sprangers, Chairman Justin Moen, Clerk Steve Madson, Supervisor Denis Walter, Treasurer Regular Meeting – June 29th, 2026 Chairman Sprangers called the meeting to order at 6:00pm Board Members Present – Mark Sprangers, Bruce Faldet, Steve Madson, Denis Walter, and Justin Moen. Also Present – Honorable Diane L. Meulemans and Rick Ertl Supervisor Madson made a motion to approve the agenda for the meeting. Chairman Sprangers seconded the motion, and it carried. Chairman Sprangers made a motion to approve the minutes from the May meeting. Supervisor Madson seconded the motion, and it carried. Public Comments: The Honorable Diane L. Meulemans, Branch 3 circuit court judge in Waupaca County, introduced herself to the board. Old Business: a. Roads/Tree Trimming – Scott Construction, Inc. is working on wedging projects. First round of cutting is complete. All ice storm clean up payments are taken care of. New Business: Honken survey map has been taken care of. Discussion took place about the Town of Iola having a Facebook page. Supervisor Madson made a motion to not have a Town of Iola Facebook page at this time. Supervisor Faldet seconded the motion, and it carried. Clerk Moen informed the board of the following: Land Use Permit for Calvin Krueger and Jodi Edmunds (shed and shipping container), Shoreland Permit for Lucas and Mikayla Cate (shed with apron and service door pad), and Land Use Permit for Henry and Rosetta Glick (detached garage). Approval of the town books was done by Supervisor Faldet and Supervisor Madson. Supervisor Madson made a motion to pay the monthly bills. Supervisor Faldet seconded the motion, and it carried.
