Annual and Regular Meeting — Minutes

Town of Iola Iola, Wisconsin www.townofiola.com Bruce Faldet, Supervisor Mark Sprangers, Chairman Justin Moen, Clerk Steve Madson, Supervisor Denis Walter, Treasurer Regular Meeting – April 27, 2026 Chairman Sprangers called the meeting to order at 6:04pm Board Members Present – Mark Sprangers, Bruce Faldet, Denis Walter, and Justin Moen. Board Member Absent – Steve Madson. Also Present – Rick Ertl and Oscar Knoeck Chairman Sprangers made a motion to approve the agenda for the meeting. Supervisor Faldet seconded the motion, and it carried. Supervisor Faldet made a motion to approve the minutes from the March meeting. Chairman Sprangers seconded the motion, and it carried. Public Comments: none Old Business: a. Roads/Tree Trimming – Scandinavia and Iola will separate from mowing grass. Iola will buy Scandinavia’s mower. Paul Shanklin will still mow for Iola. Supervisor Faldet found someone in Bancroft who can spray Buckthorn. Supervisor Faldet will investigate this option further. Discussion took place about 2026 road work for Scotts. More details on this matter will be investigated. Submitted for LSSIP for roads and bridges grant program. New Business: Supervisor Faldet made a motion to move regular monthly meeting in May to 5/18 at 6p. Chairman Sprangers seconded the motion, and it carried. Approval of the town books were done by Supervisor Faldet and Chairman Sprangers. Supervisor Faldet made a motion to pay the monthly bills. Chairman Sprangers seconded the motion and it carried.
