Town of Iola Iola, Wisconsin www.townofiola.com Bruce Faldet, Supervisor Mark Sprangers, Chairman Justin Moen, Clerk Steve Madson, Supervisor Denis Walter, Treasurer Regular Meeting – March 30, 2026 Chairman Sprangers called the meeting to order at 6:00pm Board Members Present – Mark Sprangers, Bruce Faldet, Steve Madson, Denis Walter, and Justin Moen. Also Present – Renee Hosket, Scott Hosket, Rick Ertl, and Oscar Knoeck Supervisor Faldet made a motion to approve the agenda for the meeting. Supervisor Madson seconded the motion and it carried. Supervisor Madson made a motion to approve the minutes from the February meeting. Supervisor Faldet seconded the motion and it carried. Public Comments: Renee Hosket introduced herself as a candidate for the Republican nomination for Waupaca Co. Clerk of Circuit Courts. Current clerk is retiring. Candidate Hosket will be running against another Republican candidate in the partisan primary on 8/7. Old Business: a. Roads/Tree Trimming – Chairman Sprangers informed the board that repair work was needed and taken care of on the plow truck from the blizzard that took place in March. New Business: Chairman Sprangers had no new comments regarding the cemetery. Chairman Sprangers recently attended a meeting on zoning and ordinance changes. Some wording is being changed and some new terminology adopted like solar farm and co- digestor. The annual meeting will be held on 4/27 at 6pm, immediately followed by the monthly meeting. Approval of the town books were done by Supervisor Madson and Supervisor Faldet. Supervisor Faldet made a motion to pay the monthly bills. Supervisor Madson seconded the motion and it carried.
