Town of Iola Iola, Wisconsin www.townofiola.com Bruce Faldet, Supervisor Mark Sprangers, Chairman Justin Moen, Clerk Steve Madson, Supervisor Denis Walter, Treasurer Regular Meeting – February 23, 2026 Chairman Sprangers called the meeting to order at 6:00 pm Board Members Present – Mark Sprangers, Bruce Faldet, Steve Madson, Denis Walter and Justin Moen. Supervisor Madson made a motion to approve the agenda for the meeting. Supervisor Faldet seconded the motion and it carried. Supervisor Faldet made a motion to approve the minutes from the January meeting. Supervisor Madson seconded the motion and it carried. Public Comments: None Old Business: a. Roads/Tree Trimming – Chairman Sprangers received a letter from Jewell Engineering with information that a total of $70 million is available for grant money. The deadline to apply is 3/26. Do we consider applying for some grant money if we feel we can use it for certain projects? New Business: Supervisor Madson proposed the need for a deputy clerk for elections to pick up election materials or drop them off for Clerk Moen if Clerk Moen is unable to because of his full-time job. Supervisor Madson volunteered to be deputy clerk. Chairman Sprangers made a motion for Supervisor Madson to also be Deputy Clerk. Supervisor Faldet seconded the motion and it carried. Approval of the town books were done by Supervisor Faldet and Supervisor Madson. Supervisor Madson made a motion to pay the monthly bills. Supervisor Faldet seconded the motion and it carried.
