Town of Iola Iola, Wisconsin www.townofiola.com Bruce Faldet, Supervisor Mark Sprangers, Chairman Steve Madson, Clerk Josh Franchuk, Supervisor Denis Walter, Treasurer Regular Meeting – December 22, 2025 Chairman Sprangers called the meeting to order at 6:00 pm Board Members Present – Mark Sprangers, Bruce Faldet (on phone), Josh Franchuk, Denis Walter and Steve Madson. Also – Rick Ertl and Justin Moen. Supervisor Franchuk made a motion to approve the agenda for the meeting. Supervisor Faldet seconded the motion and it carried. Supervisor Franchuk made a motion to approve the minutes from the November special meeting increasing the tax levy by $1,522 to $195,347. Supervisor Faldet seconded the motion and it carried. Supervisor Franchuk made a motion to approve the minutes from the November regular meeting. Supervisor seconded the motion and it carried Public Comments: None Old Business: a. Roads/Tree Trimming – No new updates New Business: Animal Control Service Agreement – Josh Franchuk of Dee O Gee dog care presented a new Animal Control Service Agreement for 2026. After a brief discussion Supervisor Faldet made a motion to approve the agreement. Chairman Sprangers seconded the motion and it carried. b. Clerk/Supervisor 2 – Supervisor Franchuk made a motion to accept the resignation of Clerk Steve Madson. Supervisor Faldet seconded the motion and it carried. Chairman Sprangers made a motion to appoint Justin Moen as clerk to finish the current term. Supervisor Faldet seconded the motion and it carried. Chairman Sprangers made a motion to accept the resignation of Supervisor 2 Josh Franchuk as of 12/22/25. Supervisor Faldet seconded the motion and it carried. Chairman Sprangers made a motion to appoint Steve Madson as Supervisor 2 to finish the current term. Supervisor Faldet seconded the motion and it carried. Chairman Sprangers thanked Josh Franchuk for his years of service to the Town of Iola and wished him luck in his future endeavors. Approval of the town books was done by Supervisor Faldet and Supervisor Franchuk. Supervisor Franchuk made a motion to pay the monthly bills. Supervisor Faldet seconded the motion and it carried.
