Town of Iola Iola, Wisconsin www.townofiola.com Bruce Faldet, Supervisor Mark Sprangers, Chairman Steve Madson, Clerk Josh Franchuk, Supervisor Denis Walter, Treasurer Regular Meeting – October 27, 2025 Chairman Sprangers called the meeting to order at 6:00 pm Board Members Present – Mark Sprangers, Bruce Faldet, Josh Franchuk, Denis Walter and Steve Madson. Also – Allison Breitzman and Justin Moen. Supervisor Franchuk made a motion to approve the agenda for the meeting. Supervisor Faldet seconded the motion and it carried. Supervisor Franchuk made a motion to approve the minutes from the September monthly meeting. Supervisor Faldet seconded the motion and it carried. Public Comments: None Old Business: a. Roads/Tree Trimming – Discussed status of tree trimming. New Business: a. November Meeting date change. Motion by Supervisor Franchuk to move the November meeting to Monday, November 17th due to the Thanksgiving holiday. Supervisor Faldet seconded the motion and it carried. b. Set Date for 2025 Levy and 2026 Budget Hearing – Motion by Supervisor Franchuk to set the 2025 Levy and 2026 Budget Hearing for November 17th. Motion seconded by Supervisor Faldet and it carried. Clerk Madson informed the board of the following – Building Permit for Cletus Nelesson for a shed, Randy Emmerich for electrical installation, and Ron & Linda Shroeder for a new single family home. Cutting notice for H&G Holdings. Shoreland Permit for Mark Madson for a car port. Land Use Permit for Cletus and Dianne Nelesson for a shed and Tina Moen for a Garage and Patio. Approval of the town books was done by Supervisor Faldet and Supervisor Franchuk. Supervisor Franchuk made a motion to pay the monthly bills. Supervisor Faldet seconded the motion and it carried.
