Annual and Regular Meeting — Minutes

Town of Iola Iola, Wisconsin Bruce Faldet, Supervisor Mark Sprangers, Chairman Steve Madson, Clerk Josh Franchuk, Supervisor Denis Walter, Treasurer ANNUAL MEETING – April 28, 2025 The Annual Meeting for the Town of Iola was called to order at 6:00 by Town Chairman Mark Sprangers. Present were – Mark Sprangers, Bruce Faldet, Steve Madson, Josh Franchuk, and Denis Walter. Also present – Rick Ertl, Chris Piotrowski, John Dalton, and Merle Ruenger Josh Franchuk made a motion to approve the minutes of the 2024 Annual Meeting. Bruce Faldet seconded the motion and it carried. After review of 2024 revenues and expenses, a motion to approve the report was made by Josh Franchuk with a second by Bruce Faldet. Motion carried. Denis Walter made a motion to designate the Bank First of Iola as the town’s bank. Josh Franchuk seconded the motion and it carried. Josh Franchuk made a motion to designate Attorney Bruce Meagher as the town’s attorney. Bruce Faldet seconded the motion and it carried. A motion to allow the Town to borrow monies at the Town Board’s discretion was made by Denis Walter and seconded by Josh Franchuk. Motion carried. After a review of current Town Board wages, Josh Franchuk made a motion to keep the current wages with no changes. Bruce Faldet seconded the motion and it carried Josh Franchuk made a motion to hold the 2026 Annual Meeting on April 27, 2026. Steve Madson seconded the motion and it carried There being no further business the meeting adjourned.
