Town of Iola Iola, Wisconsin www.townofiola.com Bruce Faldet, Supervisor Mark Sprangers, Chairman Steve Madson, Clerk Josh Franchuk, Supervisor Denis Walter, Treasurer Regular Meeting – July 29, 2024 Chairman Sprangers called the meeting to order at 6:00 pm Board Members Present – Mark Sprangers, Bruce Faldet, Josh Franchuk, Denis Walter and Steve Madson. Also present – Rick Ertl Supervisor Franchuk made a motion to approve the agenda for the meeting. Supervisor Faldet seconded the motion and it carried. Supervisor Franchuk made a motion to approve the minutes from the June monthly meeting. Supervisor Faldet seconded the motion and it carried. Public Comments: Waupaca County Supervisor Rick Ertl attended the meeting. He gave an update on items at the County level. Old Business: Roads/Tree Trimming – no new updates New Business: ARPA money – discussed the agreement/quote for tree trimming using the ARPA funds. Clerk Madson will take a copy to the Town’s Attorney along with a document from the Treasury Department for review. Clerk Madson informed board of Land Use Permits for Stephen & Kathleen Collins for an accessory structure, Doyle and Debra Gilbertson for a roof structure over a camper. Shoreland permit for Stanley & Meribeth Bower for an accessory structure, and Lydell & Sheryl Pethke for a deck addition. Approval of the town books was done by Supervisor Faldet and Supervisor Franchuk. Supervisor Franchuk made a motion to pay the monthly bills. Supervisor Faldet seconded the motion and it carried.
