Town of Iola Iola, Wisconsin www.townofiola.com Bruce Faldet, Supervisor Mark Sprangers, Chairman Steve Madson,Clerk Josh Franchuk, Supervisor Denis Walter, Treasurer Regular Meeting – April 29, 2024 Chairman Sprangers called the meeting to order at 6:07pm Board Members Present – Mark Sprangers, Bruce Faldet Josh Franchuk, Denis Walter and Steve Madson. Also present – Rick Ertl Supervisor Franchuk made a motion to approve the agenda for the meet ing. Supervisor Faldet seconded the motion and it carried. Supervisor Franchuk made a motion to approve the minutes from th e March monthly meeting. Supervisor Faldet seconded the motion and it carried. Public Comments: Rick Ertl was in attendance. Ertl updated the board on items at the county level. Old Business: Roads/Bridges/Snowplowing – 2024 Road projects/quotes by Scott Construction were discussed. After a brief discussion Supervisor Franchuk made a motion to approve as presented. Supervi sor Faldet seconded the motion and it carried. New Business: 1. May Meeting – The regular May monthly meeting will be May 20 th due to the Memorial Day holiday. Clerk Madson informed board of a Land Use Permits for Doll Rev. Trust for accessory structures; Nicholas Rasmussen for a chicken coop and shed; Lyndon Thoe for a deck/patio and to convert a 3 season room to a bedroom. Shoreland Permit for Valerie Thoe Trust for a structural modification. Building Permits for Lyndon Thoe, Justin Moen (transfer switch), Jim Slezak (dwelling) and Charles Jones (shed). Approval of the town books was done by Supervisor Faldet and Supervisor Franchuk. Supervisor Franchuk made a motion to pay the monthly bills. Supervisor Faldet seconded the motion and it carried.
