Town of Iola Iola, Wisconsin www.townofiola.com Bruce Faldet, Supervisor Mark Sprangers, Chairman Steve Madson,Clerk Josh Franchuk, Supervisor Denis Walter, Treasurer Regular Meeting – January 29, 2024 Chairman Sprangers called the meeting to order at 6:00pm Board Members Present – Mark Sprangers, Bruce Faldet, Josh Franchuk, Denis Walter and Steve Madson. Supervisor Franchuk made a motion to approve the agenda for the meeting. Supervisor Faldet seconded the motion and it carried. Supervisor Franchuk made a motion to approve the minutes from the December monthly meeting. Supervisor Faldet seconded the motion and it carried. Public Comments: None Old Business: Roads/Bridges/Snowplowing – no new updates New Business: 1. 2023 Revenues and Expenses – Clerk Madson presented the summary of the 2023 Revenues and Expenses. After a brief discussion Supervisor Franchuk made a motion to approve the 2023 Revenue and Expenses summary. Supervisor Faldet seconded the motion and it carried. 2. Culverts and Bridges – The Town of Iola will need to take an inventory of the culverts and bridges that are between 6ft and 20ft. There will be no cost to the township. The inventory can either be done by the town, county or a private company. After discussion Supervisor Franchuk made a motion to use a private company for the inspection. Supervisor Faldet seconded the motion and it carried. Clerk Madson informed board of a Building Permit for RDA Hunting Club for a hunting shack. Clerk Madson also informed the board of cutting notices for Lucas Schmidt, Scott Amundson and Scott Thoe. Approval of the town books was done by Supervisor Faldet and Supervisor Franchuk. Supervisor Franchuk made a motion to pay the monthly bills. Supervisor Faldet seconded the motion and it carried. There being no further business the meeting was adjourned.
