Town of Iola Iola, Wisconsin www.townofiola.com Bruce Faldet, Supervisor Mark Sprangers, Chairman Steve Madson,Clerk Josh Franchuk, Supervisor Denis Walter, Treasurer Regular Meeting – December 18, 2023 Chairman Sprangers called the meeting to order at 6:00pm Board Members Present – Mark Sprangers, Bruce Faldet, Josh Franchuk, Denis Walter and Steve Madson. Supervisor Franchuk made a motion to approve the agenda for the meeting. Supervisor Faldet seconded the motion and it carried. Chairman Sprangers made a motion to approve the minutes from the November Budget hearing. Supervisor Faldet seconded the motion and it carried. Supervisor Franchuk made a motion to approve the minutes from the Special Meeting to set the Levy for 2023. Supervisor Faldet seconded the motion at it carried. Supervisor Franchuk made a motion to approve the minutes from the November Regular Meeting. Supervisor Faldet seconded the motion and it carried. Public Comments: None Old Business: Roads/Bridges/Snowplowing – Snowplowing was discussed, all went well with the first snowfall. Supervisor Faldet discussed tree trimming along roadways. Swenson Tree Service will start trimming soon. New Business: None Clerk Madson informed the board of a Building Permit and Shoreland Permit for William and Sandra Moore for an addition. Approval of the town books was done by Supervisor Faldet and Supervisor Franchuk. Supervisor Franchuk made a motion to pay the monthly bills. Supervisor Faldet seconded the motion and it carried.
