Town of Iola Iola, Wisconsin www.townofiola.com Bruce Faldet, Supervisor Mark Sprangers, Chairman Steve Madson,Clerk Josh Franchuk, Supervisor Denis Walter, Treasurer Regular Meeting – October 30, 2023 Chairman Sprangers called the meeting to order at 6:00pm Board Members Present – Mark Sprangers, Bruce Faldet (on phone), Denis Walter and Steve Madson. Absent – Josh Franchuk Chairman Sprangers made a motion to approve the agenda for the meeting. Supervisor Faldet seconded the motion and it carried. Chairman Sprangers made a motion to approve the minutes from the September meeting. Supervisor Faldet seconded the motion and it carried. Public Comments: None Old Business: Roads/Bridges/Snowplowing – Snowplowing was tabled until the November meeting. New Business: Set Date for 2023 Levy & 2024 Budget Hearing – Motion by Chairman Sprangers to set November 27th at 6:00 Pm for the 2023 Levy and 2024 Budget Hearing. Motion seconded by Supervisor Faldet and the motion carried. Clerk Madson informed the board of a Building Permit for Nicholas Rooney (shed), Building Permit and Land Use permit for James Lashua (Shed), Land Use Permit for Hugh McAloon (dwelling and garage), Land Use Permit for Philip & Karen Hayes (machine shed) and a Land Use permit for RDA Hunting Club (dwelling). Approval of the town books was done by Supervisor Faldet and Chairman Sprangers. Chairman Sprangers made a motion to pay the monthly bills. Supervisor Faldet seconded the motion and it carried.
