Town of Iola Iola, Wisconsin www.townofiola.com Bruce Faldet, Supervisor Mark Sprangers, Chairman Steve Madson,Clerk Josh Franchuk, Supervisor Denis Walter, Treasurer Regular Meeting – July 31, 2023 Chairman Sprangers called the meeting to order at 6:00pm Board Members Present – Mark Sprangers, Bruce Faldet, Denis Walter and Steve Madson. Absent – Josh Franchuk. Also present – Josh Kampert and Rick Ertl. Supervisor Faldet made a motion to approve the agenda for the meeting. Chairman Sprangers seconded the motion and it carried. Supervisor Faldet made a motion to approve the minutes from the June meeting. Chairman Sprangers seconded the motion and it carried. Public Comments: Josh Kampert (Chairman of the ATV/UTV Committee) was present to give an update. No changes or complaints. All is going well. Rick Ertl (County Supervisor) gave an update on things going on at the county level. Old Business: Roads/ Bridges – no new updates New Business: 1. The board may look into getting out of the Iola Recycling Center and may also look at getting one garbage service for the Township. Clerk Madson informed the board of the public hearing help by the Planning and Zoning Committee for the Amundson/DNR zone map amendment will be held on August 8th at 10:30 a.m. Approval of the town books was done by Supervisor Faldet and Chairman Sprangers. Supervisor Faldet made a motion to pay the monthly bills. Chairman Sprangers seconded the motion and it carried. There being no further business the meeting was adjourned.
