Town of Iola Iola, Wisconsin Bruce Faldet, Supervisor Mark Sprangers, Chairman Steve Madson, Clerk Josh Franchuk, Supervisor Denis Walter, Treasurer ANNUAL MEETING – April 25, 2022 The Annual Meeting for the Town of Iola was called to order at 6:00 by Town Chairman Mark Sprangers. Present were – Mark Sprangers, Bruce Faldet, Steve Madson, Josh Franchuk, Denis Walter, and Rick Ertl Bruce Faldet made a motion to approve the minutes of the 2021 Annual Meeting. Denis Walter seconded the motion and it carried. After review of 2021 revenues and expenses, a motion to approve the report was made by Josh Franchuk with a second by Bruce Faldet. Motion carried. Josh Franchuk made a motion to designate the Bank First of Iola as the town’s bank. Denis Walter seconded the motion and it carried. Josh Franchuk made a motion to designate Attorney Bruce Meagher as the town’s attorney. Bruce Faldet seconded the motion and it carried. A motion to allow the Town to borrow monies at the Town Board’s discretion was made by Josh Franchuk and seconded by Denis Walter. Motion carried. After a review of current Town Board wages, Bruce Faldet asked for an increase in the mower operator wages. Josh Franchuk made a motion to increase the mower wages and keep all other wages the same. Denis Walter seconded the motion and it carried Josh Franchuk made a motion to hold the 2023 Annual Meeting on April 24, 2023. Bruce Faldet seconded the motion and it carried There being no further business the meeting adjourned.
