Plan Commission — Minutes

Town of Iola Iola, Wisconsin Bruce Faldet, Supervisor Mark Sprangers, Chairman Steve Madson, Clerk Josh Franchuk, Supervisor Denis Walter, Treasurer Regular Meeting – October 26, 2020 Chairman Sprangers called the meeting to order at 6:17 pm Board Members present were: Mark Sprangers, Bruce Faldet Steve Madson and Denis Walter. Absent – Josh Franchuk. Others present – Mark Forseth, Loren Johnson and Jerald Dunn Supervisor Faldet made a motion to approve the agenda for the meeting. Chairman Sprangers seconded the motion and it carried. Plan Commission member Mark Forseth made a motion to approve the minutes from the Brining plan commission meeting on 9/28/2020. Plan Commission member Loren Johnson seconded the motion and it carried. Supervisor Faldet made a motion to approve the minutes from the September meeting. Chairman Sprangers seconded the motion and it carried. Public Comments: Mark Forseth asked the board if they would consider letting the Pre- School use the facility if needed down the road. He was just seeing if it may be a possibility at this time Old Business: None New Business: 1. Dunn Conditional Use Permit – After a brief discussion, Supervisor Faldet made a motion to approve the permit, Chairman Sprangers seconded the motion and it carried. 2. Snowplowing – Supervisor Faldet said that Chad Bestul is all set for plowing the town roads. Faldet also stated that the Town of Harrison will plow all of Brandt Rd and the Town of Iola will plow all of Aasen Rd. 3. Clerk Madson handed out a proposed budget for 2021 4. Budget and Levy Hearing date – the board set November 30th for the Budget and Levy hearing. 5. Assessor Kelly Zillmer Contract – Supervisor Faldet made a motion to approve the contract for 2021. Chairman Sprangers seconded the motion and it carried. Clerk Madson informed the board of a land use permit for Mark & Lynn Michalak and Matt and Cari Honken for sheds. Audit of the town books was done by Chairman Sprangers and Supervisor Faldet Supervisor Faldet made a motion to pay the monthly bills. Chairman Sprangers seconded the motion and it carried. There being no further business the meeting adjourned.
