Town Board Meeting — Minutes

Town of West Bend Town Board Minutes September 23, 2026 Chairman Troy Zagel called the Town of West Bend Town Board meeting to order at 8:01 A.M. at the town hall. Chairman Zagel read the Call of the Meeting. Roll Call was taken. Chairman Troy Zagel, Supervisor Mark Wagor, Supervisor Steve Lindley, Clerk Julie Ihlenfeld, and Mike Krueger. Motion to convene into closed session pursuant to Section 19.85 (1) (c) Wisconsin State Statutes- Considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the government body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility to review Town employee performance. Roll Call vote, Supervisor Mark Wagor; aye, Supervisor Steve Lindley; and Chairman Troy Zagel; aye. All in favor. Motion carried. Chairman Zagel made a motion to convene back into open session at 8:38 A.M. Supervisor Wagor seconded the motion. All in favor. Motion carried. The meeting convened back into open session. Discussion/Action: Employee Compensation. Motion by Wagor to increase wages. Seconded by Lindley. Motion carried. Discussion/Action: Fees. Motion by Lindley to approve updated fees. Seconded by Wagor. Motion carried. Discussion/Action: Budget. Discussed budget. Appoint Little Cedar Lake PRD Town Representative. Chairman Zagel appointed Chuck McGrady as the Little Cedar Lake PRD Town Representative. Discussion/Action: Mid-Moraine Municipal Court. The Town is no longer participating as a member in the Mid-Moraine Municipal Court. Clerk Ihlenfeld will send a copy of this ordinance to the Mid-Moraine Municipal Court, Washington County Clerk Ashley Reichert and the Director of State Courts Audrey K. Skwierawski. Motion by Zagel to adopt Ordinance 2026-05 An Ordinance Repealing and Replacing Ordinance No. 2025-03. Seconded by Lindley. Motion carried. Motion by Lindley to adjourn, seconded by Wagor.
