Town Board Meeting — Minutes

Town of West Bend Town Board Minutes August 27, 2026 Chairman Zagel called the Town of West Bend Town Board meeting to order at 1:00 P.M. at the town hall. Chairman Zagel read the Call of the Meeting. Roll Call was taken. Present: Chairman Zagel, Supervisor Mark Wagor, Supervisor Steve Lindley, Clerk Julie Ihlenfeld, and Mayor Joel Ongert, Administrator Jesse Thyes, and Fire Department Chief Les Norin with the City of West Bend. Discussion/Action re: Fire Contract with City of West Bend. Discussed 2-year and 10-year fire contract options and purchase of mini pumper. The mini pumper allows for easier access to smaller roads. Chief Norin will draft a 2-year contract proposal for review in a few weeks. Motion by Lindley to adjourn, seconded by Zagel. Motion carried unanimously to adjourn the meeting at 2:10 P.M.
