Metz Town Clerk, Kristin Dhein Supervisor, Chad Dhein Supervisor, Jennifer Guslick Treasurer, Dianne Lyman PLANNING BOARD & PUBLIC HEARING MEETING MINUTES Monday, May 27, 2025 * The Planning Board and Public Hearing meetings were called to order at 6:01 pm on Monday the 27th day of May 2025 at 3070 Helsan Drive, Richfield, WI 53076. * Clerk posted proper meeting notification to the public * Meeting on March 27, 2025 was called to order at 6:01 pm by Paul Metz Members Present: Paul Metz-Planning Commission Chairman, Chad Dhein-Zoning Administrator, Jim Hoffmann-Planning Commission, Pete Kutzora – Planning Commission, Scott Landon – Planning Commission, Kristin Dhein-Town Clerk Town member/Guests present: Michael and Sandra Hug, Carl Rydell * Chad Dhein recapped the request for a zoning variance for the Board and attendees. * Mike Hug shared additional information regarding the request for a zoning variance. * The Planning Board discussed the construction of an accessory building exceeding the maximum size permitted by the current zoning ordinances on the property of Michael and Sandra Hug. * Attendees were given the opportunity to share their thoughts and ask questions of the Planning Board. * The Planning Board denied the requested enlarged accessory structure proposal of 36 ft x 56 ft (2016 sq. ft) but maintains approval of the originally requested structure submitted by Michael Hug in excess of the maximum permitted by the current zoning ordinances. The current Town of Germantown Zoning Ordinances limit an accessory building to be a maximum of 864 sq. ft. The size of the approved structure is 30 ft x 50 ft, for an enclosed area of 1500 sq. ft. Scott Landon made a motion to approve. Peter Kutzora seconded the motion. * Jim Hoffmann made a motion to adjourn. Motion was seconded by Chad Dhein. Motion carried. * Meeting adjourned at 7:00 pm.
