Metz Town Clerk, Kristin Dhein Supervisor, Chad Dhein Supervisor, Jennifer Guslick Treasurer, Dianne Lyman REGULAR MEETING MINUTES Monday, December 9, 2024 * Minutes of the Monthly Regular Meeting of the Town of Germantown, December 9, 2024, at the Town meeting place (Rockfield Elementary School, N132W18473 Rockfield Rd, Germantown, WI 53022) * Clerk posted proper meeting notification. * Meeting was called to order at 7:06 pm by Paul Metz Members Present: Paul Metz-Chairman, Dianne Lyman-Treasurer, Jennifer Guslick-Supervisor, Chad Dhein- Supervisor, Kristin Dhein-Clerk Excused Members: None * Town members/Guests present: Josh Schoemann, Gary Zartner, Cheryl Chybowski, Amanda Kirchoff, Carroll Merry, Jeff Schleif, Pam Schleg, Robert Lyman * Public Presentation: Josh Schoemann (Washington County Executive) * Appearance: None * Clerk read the minutes of the Regular Meeting held on Monday, November 11, 2024. Chad Dhein made a motion to accept the minutes as read. Motion was seconded by Paul Metz. Motion carried. * Treasurer read the Treasurer’s Report. Jennifer Guslick made a motion to accept the Treasurer’s report. Motion was seconded by Chad Dhein. Motion carried. * The Board examined the bills to be paid and signed checks. Chad Dhein made a motion to accept the bills. Motion was seconded by Paul Metz. Motion carried. * New Business: o Listening Session with County Executive Josh Schoemann – Josh Schoemann met with the Board and local residents where he listened to concerns, answered questions, and shared updates on the work being done in Washington County. * Continued Discussion: o ARPA Funds – The Board discussed how to use the remaining ARPA funds. Chad Dhein made a motion to purchase a laptop computer, printers, software, and to use the remaining ARPA funds for other miscellaneous items before the end of the year. Motion was seconded by Jennifer Guslick. Motion carried. o Discuss Solar Panel Project – The Town Board shared an update from their meeting with the Village Board. The Village is following up on items related to a revised Road Use Agreement. Another meeting between the Town Board and Village Board may be planned in the future. o Update on .gov email addresses – Jennifer Guslick gave a brief update on the .gov email addresses and is working with Town Web to get them finalized. o ATV/UTV Discussion – Chad Dhein will look at ATV/UTV ordinances for other local municipalities * Clerk dispersed the mail that was received for Board members. * The next regular meeting will be on Monday, January 13, 2025 at 7:00 pm at Rockfield Elementary School. * Chad Dhein made a motion to adjourn.
