WINCHESTER FIRE & RESCUE AGENDA Date: 5/12/26 CALL TO ORDER PLEDE OF ALLIGIANCE APPROVAL OF MINUTES TREASUER'S REPORT MEMBERS PRESENT CORRESPONDENCE: OLD BUSINESS: • Talked about moving account to avoid $175 fee, no changes • Talked about ways to reduce sediment via flushing the dry hydrant initially; cinder block under dry hydrant in water; using a floating strainer always a second option • Potential June training would be to put cinder blocks under dry hydrants in our area • It was decided not worth buying the Turtle fire system • Discussed some difficulties setting up a dumpsite at the PI fire in March • Pedal cutter is in service in the Rescue • Winchester ambulance in shop for repairs; at least 2 weeks out to be done • Work done on Engine 1: re-valved, potential sand/dirt damage into pump; repairs cost around $9,000.
