TOWN  OF  WESTBORO    The   meeting   was   called   to   order   on   Friday,  March  8,   2013.     Present   Steve   Peterson,   Rocky  Jones,   Jeff   Peterson,   Smokey   &   Nancy   Wiitala,   Ed   Schlosser,   John   Pipkorn,   Gene   Lucia,   Duane  Rademacher,   Steve   &   Wendy   Thums,   Sue   Peterson.     Absent  Tim   Roiger,   Julie   Scott,   Denise  Johnson.    Motion  &  2nd  to  accept  minutes  of  the  February  8th  &  15th,  motion  carried.      Motion  &  2nd  to  accept  the  Treasurer’s  Report,  motion  carried.    Motion  to  pay  bills  $487,279.31,  motion  carried.    Smokey  volunteered  to  be  town  constable;  act  on  in  April  meeting  –  badge,  no  pay.    Nancy   Wiitala   appointed   to   Library   Board.     Act   on   resignation   of   David   and   accept   Candice  Smith  as  director.    Need  bid  for  gravel;  motion  for  6,000  yards  and  crack  seal  bid.    Spring  weight  limit;  motion  to  post  on  March  9th  to  6500#  -­‐  Zimmerman,  Rindt,  and  Cummings  to  9:00  a.m.;  rest  with  county  posting.      Motion  to  set  date  at  April  monthly  meeting.    Letter  to  land  owners  for  land  purchase  –  April  12,  2013  6:00  p.m.        Motion  to  let  land  go  back  to  county;  table  refuse  burning  to  next  meeting.    $723  per  mile  sign  ATV  &  UTV;  town  liability  ATV  club.        Motion  to  leave  fire  hall  at  60/40.    Motion  to  approve  safety  officer  and  Air  Captain  pay  at  $300  per  year  from  budget  for  next  year.    Motion  to  grant  license  to  Pride,  carried.    Next  meeting  April  12,  2013  at  6:00  p.m.    Motion  to  adjourn  at  7:30  p.m.,  carried.        Rocky  Jones,  Acting  Clerk
